In expressive creative writing, we don’t need to have the answers—we can let ourselves process, imagine, uncover, and give voice to parts of ourselves that have been silent. In this 30-minute session, we’ll embark on a guided free-writing time through a no-pressure prompt designed for those who don’t usually practice writing. We’ll hold space for mindfulness and catharsis.

We are offering a special 3-week linked Writing for Wellness series titled Your Stories in Healthcare for the month of April (4/16, 4/23 and 4/30). Each week will offer a different writing prompt that helps you begin (or continue) to share aspects of your personal stories of working in healthcare. Whether you’ve already been writing, or have wanted to and not known where to begin, or haven’t known how to at all, this can help you explore your stories from different angles.

As Writing for Wellness courses, our approach for both offerings will still be in free-writing as a self-care practice. But as a linked series, we hope these sessions create a rhythm for you where your writings can build on each other.
