Narrative medicine is an interdisciplinary field that brings powerful narrative skills of radical listening and creativity from the humanities and the arts to address to needs of all who seek and deliver health care. Narrative medicine enables patients and caregivers to voice their experience, to be heard, to be recognized, and to be valued, improving and humanizing the delivery of health care.
In each one-hour class, participants are introduced to Narrative Medicine practices, which foster deeper listening, stronger connections, and greater well-being. Participants may attend as many classes as they want during the six-week series but they may only attend classes within their cohort.
Please note: There is no class on 3/18 for Spring Break.
